Overview

Many homeowners do not know that basic homeowners insurance only covers things like property damage to your home, but not repairs due to normal usage to your interior electrical system. You are currently not covered with the Electrical Line Plan in the event of a breakdown. A plan will help with covered interior electrical system repair costs.

With a plan, we will arrange and pay for the repair or replacement due to normal wear and tear of the failing electrical line. You must call SLWA to arrange for service in order for repairs to be covered. An electrical line is the high voltage wiring that services your residence from your Utility's responsibility up to and including switches and outlets.
